Nighty Night Noah has been picked up for a Dutch translation by Uitgeverij Callenbach, a division of KOK.

 What a wonderful way for Noah and his friends aboard the ark to float in to the New Year!

Christmas arrived early  this year, with the news from Abingdon

 Press that  Nighty Night Noah is going

international!

Noah is being translated into Portuguese, with an

 initial  print run of 10,000 copies!

That’s a lot of animals coming “two by two”- or should I say-

 ”dois por dois”.

A snail was mugged by a tortoise.

When asked by the police if he could identify his assailant the snail replied:

“No… it all happened too quickly.”

(ba dum bum ching!)

My first visit to New York was for the Opening of The Original Art 2008-

And to say that Nighty Night Noah was in good company would be an understatement!

I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be there!

The experience of meeting so many talented illustrators,

and being surrounded by such inspiring work was incredible!

Here I am- trying to look cool and artistic-

but failing utterly- as I can barely suppress my perma-grin.

I was just so excited to be there!!!

Nighty Night Noah has been chosen as a part of The Original Art show in New York! 

One piece from each book chosen will be on display at the Museum of Illustration from

October 15 - November 26, 2008… Noah and his Alligator pals will be there!

In less than 40 days and 40 nights- Nighty Night Noah will be coming (2 by 2)  to bookstores!
