ART in 3D!!!
(Otherwise titled: Come out and play… with Polymer Clay!)

In this session we will be learning about... Sculpture! Specifically additive sculpture with polymer clay. That means we’ll be building bases and armatures and then sculpting on top of them with polymer clay!

The FUNdamentals present students with the opportunity to let their imaginations and artistic talents flourish while stretching their vocabulary, and working with a variety of artistic media. Visual art provides children with the means to express their interpretation of the world around them in a tangible and enjoyable way; it brings the analytical and creative halves of the brain together to create a unique visual expression of the world.

This eight week course is taught by Molly Idle, former DreamWorks artist, and author and illustrator of many children’s books including Nighty Night Noah.

Classes are Wednesdays from 8:30-9:30 am and 9:30-10:30 am beginning March 12, 2010.

• Enrollment fee: $50.00 per student (includes the cost of materials) Sibling discounts available.
• Enrollment is limited to 10 students per class (Ages 8-18)
• Spaces are filled on a first paid, first reserved basis
